They’ll be munching on raw food in no time!
This is a simple recipe that makes about 1KG and can be easily scaled up (suitable for freezing) or down to suit. You don’t need a grinder for this recipe.
Ingredients:
– 215 grams of chicken wings with tips, cut at the joints*
– 685 grams of any boneless meat except chicken breast or rabbit**, chunked or minced
– 100 grams of any liver
Instructions:
1. Mix all ingredients together
2. The recipe is ready to serve!
3. It can be kept for 2-3 days in the fridge to ensure freshness
Remember, this recipe is just a starting point, and you can adjust it to suit your pet’s needs and preferences.
* Cutting the wings is really easy – just use a strong pair of scissors or a sharp knife to cut at the natural joints. If you have the whole wing, you’ll get three sections; if you have the tip removed, you’ll only get two sections.
Just be careful you’re not smashing the bones with a dull knife as this can create dangerous splinters which could be a choking hazard. An ultra-sharp cleaver and a sturdy chopping block, or poultry shears should be used.
** It’s not recommended to feed your cat chicken breast or rabbit, as they are both low in fat and taurine – an essential nutrient for your cat’s diet.
